Hourly Rates and Additional Charges
VAT 0% or 25.5%, depending on the current service price list and the client’s service needs. The minimum duration for daily assistance and care visits is one and a half (1.5) hours. The minimum duration for home cleaning visits is two (2) hours. Clients are billed according to the scheduled time they have booked. If the actual time is less than the minimum duration, clients are billed according to the minimum duration. Any additional time is billed in 15-minute increments. For additional services, the minimum duration is service-specific and agreed upon separately.

Aatos Avustajat Oy reserves the right to change prices with one (1) month’s notice.

VAT Exemption
Some social care services provided by Aatos Avustajat Oy are exempt from VAT because:
(i) the activities are supervised by social authorities,
(ii) a service plan and agreement have been made with the client, and
(iii) the service is provided to a person in need of social care (whose functional ability has decreased due to age, illness, or other reasons).

Billing
Services charged by the hour are invoiced monthly based on actual time used. The payment term is 14 days net. A reminder fee of €10 applies for late payments. We reserve the right to change prices and terms of delivery with one (1) month’s notice.

Mileage Compensation
If the provider’s or employee’s car is used as part of the service, the client will be billed for mileage. Mileage includes both the kilometers driven during the visit and the kilometers from the employee’s travel to and from the client’s home. In other cases, mileage charges are agreed separately with the client.

Availability
Service availability may vary by region.

Cancellations
Hourly services must be canceled at least 48 hours before the scheduled time to avoid billing. Clients may terminate the service agreement at any time.

Substitutes
Aatos Avustajat Oy provides personal home services, where the client may have an assigned assistant. If the assistant must cancel (e.g., due to illness), we will attempt to find a substitute if the client wishes, but cannot guarantee a replacement in all situations. If cancellation occurs on the provider’s side, the visit will not be billed.

Validity of Agreement and Service Plan Review
The service agreement is valid until further notice. The service plan is reviewed and updated as needed.

Service Voucher Clients
For clients using service vouchers, service-specific pricing from palse.fi or parastapalvelua.fi applies. Voucher clients may be charged co-payments according to the current rules. Cancellation terms in the voucher rules also apply.

Data Protection
Aatos Avustajat Oy’s privacy policy and data protection description comply with the GDPR (Act 1050/2018), effective 1.1.2019.
